I’m TiAnna - Founder of the Black Access Hub!

I created this hub because so many talented Black students miss out on life-changing opportunities simply because they don’t know they exist. This platform brings all the information into one place so students and parents can take action with confidence.

Why this matters:

  •  Black students make up 8.5% of all undergraduates (the third-largest group after White and Asian students)

  • 63.3% of Black pupils progressed to higher education by age 19 in 2023/24 - the highest progression rate of any broad ethnic group

  • But in the 2021–22 entry year, only 18.5% of Black students started degrees at high-tariff institutions (e.g., Russell Group). This was the lowest share of all major ethnic groups

  • 17.3% of Black graduates received a first-class degree, compared with 36.1% of White graduates - the lowest rate among all ethnic groups.

  •  Black graduates enter high-skill jobs/further study at slightly lower rates than White graduates

The Black Access Hub hopes to help improve these statistics.
